The largest project I have managed to date was a complete exterior restoration of this lovely Tudor Revival style home located on Corbin Park near downtown Spokane, Washington.  The owner hired us (Adept Painters back then) to completely remove nearly all the paint from the outside of his home to get down to bare wood before prepping and painting the house.  His intent was to match the level of detail that he had gone through several years earlier when restoring the interior after a radiator burst upstairs, flooding the house.

We brought in BRICO Construction, Inc. to help with the skilled carpentry which included replacing three barge rafters, a large section of soffit, and installing all new James Hardi stucco replacement panels.  We also coordinated with the new roof being installed by Elevated Roofing.  Our job was to remove the old stucco, strip down the exterior wood, repair it or replace it to like new condition, and then oil prime and paint the home.

During this project we also restored the old storm windows and screens, had new decorative iron security bars installed on all basement windows, rebuilt part of the back porch, resided the garage, stripped and epoxied the front porch, and installed bird blocking above all the corbels.

You can see the progress as old yet salvageable wood was stripped, repaired, floated with wood filler epoxy, sanded, primed and then painted.  This project provides a great example of how we can repair damage to your home’s exterior in a manner that is indistinguishable from new once it’s painted.  Swipe below to see the transformation.
